Chocolate Hard Wax 400g

COLOPHONIUM (ROSIN):

A solid form of resin obtained from pines, providing high adhesion and great flexible qualities to the wax.

ETHYLENE/VA COPOLYMER:

A copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate, used to provide elasticity and flexibility to the wax. It ensures the wax remains flexible once dried, never brittle, and does not break.

PARAFFIN:

Creates an occlusive layer on the skin that helps retain moisture and protect the treated area. While it doesn’t hydrate the skin directly, it helps prevent water loss and soothes the skin post-waxing.

GLYCERYL HYDROGENATED ROSINATE:

A stabilized version of glyceryl rosinate that provides better resistance to oxidation. It improves the tackiness and melting behavior of the wax, making it easier to work with and more effective at gripping hair.

THEOBROMA CACAO (COCOA) SEED BUTTER:

A natural plant butter rich in fatty acids and antioxidants. It nourishes, softens, and soothes the skin after waxing, reducing inflammation and supporting skin regeneration.

CERA ALBA (BEESWAX):

Has good binding properties, making the wax better in contact with the skin and protecting the skin. It also improves the texture and pliability of the wax.

PARAFFINUM LIQUIDUM (MINERAL OIL):

Ensures the wax does not pull on the skin, gripping only the hair and leaving the skin residue-free.

TRIETHYLENE GLYCOL:

A solvent and viscosity-controlling agent that helps improve the spreadability and application of the wax. It may also contribute to maintaining the texture of the formula over time.

HYDROGENATED ROSINATE:

Provides excellent adhesive qualities and contributes to the cohesive structure of the wax, enhancing its effectiveness in hair removal.

AROMA:

Fragrance added to provide a pleasant sensory experience during waxing. In this formula, it delivers a subtle chocolate scent, enhancing comfort and indulgence during treatment.

CI 77891 (TITANIUM DIOXIDE):

A white pigment that gives the wax its opacity and bright appearance. It also adds a creamy texture and can offer mild skin-soothing and protective effects due to its reflective properties.

CI 77499 (IRON OXIDES):

A cosmetic-grade black pigment used to give the wax a rich, dark hue for better visibility during application.

Melt the Wax: Begin by melting the depilatory
non-strip wax. Next turn your heater in a range - 65-75°C. Stir until it reaches a smooth, honey-like consistency. Adjust the temperature as needed. To check, lift the wax with a spatula; if it drips instantly,
it’s too hot. If it remains solid for more than 3 seconds, it’s ready.

Test the Temperature: Apply a small test strip of wax on the inside of your wrist. This ensures the wax is at a safe temperature to avoid skin burns.

Prepare the Skin: Ensure the area to be waxed is thoroughly cleansed with Black Coral Wax Cleanser.

Pre-Wax Care: Always perform appropriate pre-wax skin care for optimal results.

Apply the Wax: Using a wooden spatula, apply the wax evenly in the direction of hair growth with gentle pressure.

Cool and Set: Allow the wax to cool until it is no longer sticky to the touch.

Remove the Wax: Hold the skin taut, grasp the edge of the wax, and peel it off briskly in the opposite direction of hair growth.

Post-Wax Care: Finish with Black Coral Wax After-Wax skin care to soothe and hydrate the area.
